Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Anita and I’m the girl behind Kissed With Curves. I’m just under 5’2″, wear a size 10P – 12P and I’ve been “kissed” with lots of curves. I love to shop and follow many beautiful fashion bloggers but noticed there aren’t as many bloggers that feature curvy girls. After thinking about it for a while and some encouragement from family and friends, I decided to start one myself. Why not, right?!
Here’s my mission statement:
“Inspire women to embrace their curves and glow with confidence one outfit at a time.”
Sounds pretty official, right? It’s meant to be fun and encouraging and hopefully motivating too!
In the past, it hasn’t always been easy to find flattering fashion when you’re not tall and slender. Lately, however, I’ve been noticing a lot more options and I’m on a mission to create an everyday wardrobe that I love and feel confident wearing. The reality is that I’m never going to be a size 2 so I’m embracing who I am and I’d love to inspire you do the same.
So what else can I tell you about myself? I’m originally from New Jersey but now live in Tampa, Florida with my wonderful husband of almost 12 years. We love ordinary and exotic adventures, exploring new places, trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends. Oh, and we LOVE to travel. We make it a point to plan several adventures each year and I look forward to sharing some of those with you here.
As for hobbies, I love to take lots of photos, scrapbook, read, sleep and, of course, I love to shop! This year I’m hoping to make exercise a hobby too. We’ll see how that one goes!
I’m excited for this new adventure and hope you’ll join me for the ride. Let’s embrace our curves and conquer our closets with fun and flattering everyday fashion. And let’s have a great time too!
