This is 52! Grateful for another year around the sun, especially as I get closer and closer to an age my mom never got to experience. This stage of life doesn’t come without challenges (Those of you in midlife know what I mean! The physical, mental and emotional changes are no joke!) but I am thankful for every minute. I know none of them are guaranteed. This season of life also comes with a new freedom that’s truly amazing and something I’m trying to embrace and enjoy each day. It’s not too late to do all the things on that bucket list and pursue new dreams so I’m still dreaming and chasing down ways to make them happen! 💗

You don’t have to ask me twice to go to Maui. I’ll never say no! Especially when your 82 year old dad wants to go since he’s not up for as many travel adventures these days as he used to be. Not sure how we pulled this one off with 3 weeks notice but somehow the stars aligned, we were able to find plane tickets, a place to stay and our work PTO was already scheduled for this week for the other trip that had to be cancelled. So here we are again in one of the most beautiful places on earth! 🌴

This matching set is the cutest vacation outfit for the beach and it works really well on a midsize petite frame. Perfect resort wear to go from the pool or beach to lunch. As a woman over 50 who is midsize and petite, finding a complete outfit from one retailer doesn’t happen often so I had to share!
Here’s what I’m wearing:
– Linen Sweater: (soft, easy drape, perfect weight for warm weather and layering)
– Jeans: (great fit for petite length + flattering rise)
– Shoes: (comfortable and easy for everyday wear)
– Bag and Sunglasses: (simple, effortless and elevated finishing touches)
