I’m usually not a huge fan of wearing shorts because they never really fit right but I’m obsessed with this pair! Who knew ignoring the number on the tag and sizing up would feel so good?! These linen shorts are the perfect length and so comfortable. Not too short and not too long and available in lots of colors! Paired them here with a simple white tee, comfy sandals that are great for the beach and pool and a cute little raffia crossbody bag. Such an easy outfit for hot summer days!

This is 52! Grateful for another year around the sun, especially as I get closer and closer to an age my mom never got to experience. This stage of life doesn’t come without challenges (Those of you in midlife know what I mean! The physical, mental and emotional changes are no joke!) but I am thankful for every minute. I know none of them are guaranteed. This season of life also comes with a new freedom that’s truly amazing and something I’m trying to embrace and enjoy each day. It’s not too late to do all the things on that bucket list and pursue new dreams so I’m still dreaming and chasing down ways to make them happen! 💗

You don’t have to ask me twice to go to Maui. I’ll never say no! Especially when your 82 year old dad wants to go since he’s not up for as many travel adventures these days as he used to be. Not sure how we pulled this one off with 3 weeks notice but somehow the stars aligned, we were able to find plane tickets, a place to stay and our work PTO was already scheduled for this week for the other trip that had to be cancelled. So here we are again in one of the most beautiful places on earth! 🌴
