Hey friends! Today is the first day of early access for my favorite sale of the year – the 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I took the day off from work so I could head over to Nordstrom and check out all of the new fall goodies that have arrived! It was a really fun day and I spent hours and hours trying on lots and lots of items so I could share my favorites with you!.
During the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, you can find awesome deals on everyday basics and fun, brand new items. It’s a great time of year to stock up on pieces that you can wear year-round as well as fun, new trendy pieces for the upcoming season. All of the items I’ve compiled here are what I think were the best of the best and what fit me really well. I was very selective and made sure I chose flattering pieces that I will enjoy wearing over and over again. Since things tend to sell out quickly during this sale, I’m sharing a list of my top picks today and will do another follow-up post in the next few days with all of the photos from my marathon try-on session today.
Here are my favorites from the 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale:
- Free People Tunic: I absolutely LOVE this top! It’s fun, flowy and so pretty! I’m super excited to wear it with skinny jeans and booties and the print and colors are gorgeous! It runs really big so definitely size down. I bought it in an XS.
- Kendra Scott Kirsten Drop Earrings: These are a new and updated version of the earrings I purchased last year. I love the shape and they’re a great everyday accessory for just about any outfit.
- 1.State Studded Bootie: These booties are really cool and I love the studded detail. They come in four colors but the charcoal suede is my favorite!
- Hinge Mixed Lace Peplum Top: Such a pretty top with beautiful details. Great to wear now or with a cardigan on top later. I bought this in a size large.
- AG Farrah Ankle Skinny Jeans: Curvy girls – these jeans are awesome! They’re high-rise, fit really well and hold everything in. I didn’t really need a new pair of jeans but after trying on so many styles and brands, I fell in love with these and they came home with me!
- Alo Fluid Tunic Hoodie: This sweatshirt is so soft and comfortable and I love that it covers my behind too so I can wear it with leggings. Great for running around town, travel or just everyday at home. I bought this in a size Medium.
- Zella Live In High Waist Leggings: I bought these last year but they’re a wardrobe staple so I wanted to include them in my list of favorites this year too. I wear them in a Medium. They’re also available in Plus Sizes which you can find here: http://shopstyle.it/l/Oorm
- Tumi Crossbody Travel Bag: I’m always looking for items that are great for travel and this bag will be perfect for an upcoming trip! It’s super lightweight and has plenty of space for everything you need for your next adventure. Perfect for carrying a wallet, phone, passports, snacks and lots of other items too. It comes in 3 colors but I’m partial to the navy camo!
- Adidas Flashback Sneakers: These are a very different style than I normally choose but when I saw them, I tried them on and loved them. They look like a nice, casual shoe and they’re great to finish off your “athleisure” look. Great for travel too if you don’t want to wear a regular athletic shoe.
- Nordstrom Moonlight Short Pajamas: These are so, so soft! They have great reviews so if you need a new pair of summer pajamas, grab these now while they’re on sale!
- AG Legging Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans: I bought these at the sale last year and they’re back again this year. They’re really flattering and I always get lots of compliments when I wear them. After years of trying on all kinds of premium denim, I’ve decided that AG Jeans is my favorite premium brand.
- Oribe Gold Lust Set: I’ve been hearing lots of great things about Oribe products and have been wanting to try them for a while now. They’re pretty pricey so when I found this sampler set, I thought it would be a perfect way to try them without having to invest in the larger sized bottles.
- Madewell Bonham Bootie: I tried on so many pairs of brown booties and these won! The color of the leather is really pretty in person and I honestly think you can wear these all year round. The heel isn’t too high and they’re a great everyday bootie.
- Leith Ribbed Shawl Cocoon Sweater: My favorite cardigan this year! So soft and fits great! The material drapes really well and it’s a nice lightweight sweater that you can wear even in warmer climates. It comes in several colors and would be great for work or play.
- Simplehuman Sensor Mirror: I’ve been wanting/needing a mirror like this for a while now and this one is SO cool! It’s cordless, has amazing light and is very lightweight. It’s a bit of a splurge but it’s a really good deal during the Anniversary sale right now.
