It’s time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! If you’re a Nordstrom cardholder, you have Early Access to this awesome sale from now until July 20th. On July 21st, the sale will be open to the public and will continue through August 6th. This is one of my favorite sales of the year because Nordstrom releases brand new merchandise for the fall at great sale prices. Many discounts are up to 40% off and it’s the perfect time of year to stock up on clothing, shoes, accessories and beauty items.
On Thursday I went to check out the sale at my local Nordstrom and spent hours trying on tons of new items for fall. There are hundreds and hundreds of items on sale and it can be overwhelming to go through everything in the store or sift through the pages and pages of sale items online. To help you navigate the sale, I pulled together 25 of my favorite items from the sale. Below is the full list along with some reasons why I selected these items. 1. Free People “Perfectly Victorian” Minidress – this was hands-down my favorite item this year! It’s not something I would normally pick out but I happened to try it on and absolutely LOVED it! Curvy girls – this dress is for you! It’s a bit fitted at the top and super flowy at the bottom. It hides all imperfections and Spanx are not required! It can be worn with sandals, booties or boots and it’s super cute!
2. Vince Camuto Madolee Over The Knee Boot – I’ve been skeptical of over the knee boots because I’m pretty short and didn’t think I could pull them off. I love these! They weren’t too overwhelming and are actually really versatile. I tried them on with jeans and they look great with the dress I mentioned above too!
3. Kendra Scott Elle Filigree Drop Earrings – I love Kendra Scott’s designs and these earrings in rose gold are so delicate and beautiful!
4. Blank NYC Life Changer Moto Jacket – If you’re in the market for a faux leather jacket, this is a great option! It’s less than $65 during the sale and looks much more expensive than its price tag.
5. Trish McEvoy Power of Fragrance Collection – this is my favorite scent and the one I wear most often. It’s so light, clean and fresh and not at all overpowering. The anniversary sale is a great time to buy fragrances since they are often part of special gift sets that are usually a great value.
6. Barefoot Dreams Cozychic Lite Circle Cardigan – I’ve been hearing rave reviews about this cardigan for quite a while so I finally decided to check it out. It’s SO soft and cozy and I can see why this is something people reach for every single day. It’s also a great gift item for the holidays if you’re planning ahead.
7. Halogen Scallop Edge Sweater – This is a great basic sweater with a fun twist. The scallop edges are a nice addition and it fits great!
8. Caslon Stripe Bell Sleeve Tee – Give me all the stripes! I seriously have a thing for stripes and this is a great addition if you collect them too. The shape of this shirt is very different. It has dolman sleeves and also bell sleeves which is very unique. Another fun twist on a wardrobe basic.
9. Sam Edelman Raisa Bow Flat – these are so cute and come in several colors and patterns. Love the bow detail!
10. AG Legging Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans – These jeans have been super popular among bloggers and I can see why. They have a lower rise than some of the other jeans I’ve been wearing lately (but not super low) so there’s a hint of my muffin top that shows depending on what shirt I’m wearing. However, these jeans are super flattering everywhere else and it’s amazing what a good pair of jeans can do for your figure. I’ve been a fan of AG jeans for quite a while and these do not disappoint!
11. BP Leopard Print Scarf – I’m always a fan of leopard prints and this scarf is a fun accessory to add to your wardrobe for only $12!
12. Vince Camuto Fileana Split Shaft Bootie – One of the first items that caught my eye in the Anniversary sale catalog this year. The details along the edges of these booties are really nice and the grey is beautiful!
13. Zella Live In High Waist Leggings – These are a great wardrobe staple and they’re currently a great price during the sale. They’re not thin or see-through and are really good quality. If you don’t have a pair, now’s the time to buy them!
14. Nike 3-Pack No-Show Socks – I love these socks for low cut booties and sneakers too. Now’s the time to stock up on these basics while they’re at a great price.
15. Lush Raw Edge Side Slit Tee – Another wardrobe basic with a twist. This tee is great for under cardigans, shirts or even on its own. The side slits are a nice addition.
16. Zella Autumn High Waist Moto Ankle Leggings – I’ve had my eye on these ALO Moto leggings for quite a while but didn’t want to pay over $114 for them. These Zella leggings are similar and less than half the price during the sale. Such a great alternative to the more expensive version!
17. Zella Don’t Sweat It Sweater – I travel quite a bit with my husband and I’m always on the lookout for comfy clothes to wear on airplanes. I’ve always freezing so I need something with long sleeves and this sweater is perfect to wear with either of the two Zella leggings I linked above.
18. Halogen Long Open Front Cardigan – Another wardrobe staple that comes in several colors. This one is made of really nice material, lays well and is not overwhelming for a shorter frame (it comes in regular and petite). Love this for any time of year (and airplanes too)!
19. Philosophy Amazing Grace Body Emulsion & Shower Gel Trio – I buy this set almost every year during the sale. This lotion has a nice, light scent, moisturizes well and last a really long time since it’s such a big bottle!
20. Rails Hunter Plaid Shirt – Plaid and fall go hand in hand and this version is made beautifully, fits well and is super soft. It has a pretty hefty price tag but I happened to try it on during my marathon dressing room session and really liked it.
21. Madewell Golden Crossing Necklace – a fun statement necklace for the fall.
22. Hunter Original Refined Matte Rain Boot – I’ve had a pair of Hunter boots on my wishlist for quite a while so these definitely caught my eye.
23. Nike Free Focus Flyknit 2 Bionic Training Shoe – these pink sneakers are so lightweight and so cute. Enough said.
24. UGG Wrin Rib-Knit and Genuine Shearling Slipper – I love UGG slippers and wear mine every single day. This version is on sale and would make a great gift for yourself now or for someone else during the holidays.
25. Nordstrom Lingerie “Moonlight” Short Pajamas – I tried these on and they are so soft and comfortable. The quality of the material is really nice and they come in a few different colors/patterns.
